As the scene opens, Fleur and Roger have already walked into town to pick up supplies and ask around for Dan as cabin fever sets in for Frank and Dee.

Dan has been missing for many years. On a hunch, Frank, Fleur, and Dee (along with outsider Roger) have traveled to a remote cabin in Canada to search for him. They arrived the previous night, found it unoccupied, and slept there. Our story opens as they awake.
