These are a few of my favorite sounds - episode 1

Victoria picks her favorite memories from over 20 years as a radio producer and field recording technician. Stories abound. Her ears are well tuned to hear the world in a surprising way. She doesn't just present the sounds as she hears them. She turns them into documentaries. Most people travel with a camera. Victoria travels with her microphone too. With over 20 years as a radio producer and field recording tech, sound poems and audio portraits of a world alive with sound.

The Roaming Ear - Episode 2 - The Edge of Extreme

In September of 2003, Victoria Fenner and her partner Barry Rueger were invited to come up to Cambridge Bay and help the volunteers develop their radio station CFBU.  This piece explores some of the sounds outside the radio station .. the wind, the water, the air raid siren, ATVs, the howling dogs, planes, local musicians and much more.

Episode 3 - Three Squares on the Tundra
