A Tale of Two Sisters by Anna Maxted - Book Review

Professor Africa Fine reviews an entertaining novel showcasing sisters in A Tale of Two Sisters by Anna Maxted.  British author Maxted offers an engaging and well-written novel that address meaningful issues not only in a thoughtful way, but funny too. The novel explores the notions of family expectations, the complexity of motherhood, career successes and derailments.

No Country for Old Men - Book Review

This book review is for a novel by Cormac McCarthy, No Country for Old Men.  The movie came out in December 2007.  Professor Africa Fine read the book first before viewing the moving.  The novel is a fascinating tale about evil, about the inevitability of evil, about how the choices an individual makes leads him/her down a path he cannot control nor change.  Professor Fine rates this book "excellent."
