Pictured is my newly acquired Gretsch 5129 guitar. I'm using the guitar in a traditional way for this experimental instrumental. You may have heard these same sound in James Bond films and old westerns,Quentin Tarantino movies I'm using the Peavey Delta Blues vibrato for effect. The end part of this tune I'm using the Ibanez Johnny Smith Guitar. The new Gretsch is a welcome and usefull addition to my stable of guitar tools. Thanks for listening, Lance

User Friendly is a alternative/rock type song. All my music is experimentation, so is life. This is my first original instrumental using the new Stratocaster with the killerguitarcomponents.com brass tremola block. I used a Roland GT-6 with one output going DI in and the other recorded with a Gibson Galaxy amp with a sm-57 mic. The bass was done with the Musicman Sterling through a SWR tube preamp. An original Rock tune. I'm using my pro player 60's Mexican Stratocaster for all the guitar parts through the Roland GT-6 multi effects processor. The Music Man bass through a SWR head via xlr out was used for the bass parts and Beta Monkey real drum loops for the drum parts. The house is a picture of the house we lived in for 5 years,it was my favorite house. Now I'm living in Gods country again,I don't call it that! A original jazz type tune. A person was talking about someone sinking his ship. The talk box babble is the conversation. I used the viola bass and the Ibanez Johnny Smith for the background hits. The Parker night fly SA was use for the babble all through the Roland gt-6. Beta Monkey jazz loops were used for the drums setup in a random sequence. Enjoy the babble :-)

This was recorded in my house on Sedona drive in Chandler Arizona about 8 years ago. The rain was the pouring down and the intense sound was coming in through the patio door,must have been the Monsoon season.:-) I used a Vestax hard disc recorder on this one. Here is a original tribute instrumental to the Minneapolis band Crow. I borrowed a couple lines from Cottage Cheese which is one of my all time favorite rock tunes,that tune influenced me the most as a young rock bass player and should be on the school of rock to learn list for all bass players.
